Sandy Rocks the Nation, Obama Mocks the Nation

Atlantic City underwater.

In the aftermath of super storm Sandy, we keep those impacted in our prayers, especially for those who have lost loved ones. I sincerely ask you to continue to pray for all affected. I did not want to bring any politics into an article that had to deal with the hurricane, and I do seem to remember hearing recently Obama saying something to that effect, however he did happen to throw his lean forward slogan into a couple of press conferences. So make this political he did first.

Having a family member in path of the hurricane myself, in Maryland, I have been following the events as much as possible, but I also see the need to not lose focus on the developments of the so-called ‘Benghazi-gate.’ Don’t forget, according to Rahm Emanuel, we don’t want to waste a crisis. Well this is just the crisis needed to take everyone’s mind off the loss of American lives in Libya and focus them elsewhere.

It is very saddening to have to say something like that. We need badly to support our fellow citizens, but individuals and conglomerates of left based groups and foundations have been “capitalizing” on the deaths and struggles of Americans and spinning them into something they can use to push agendas and hide corruption.

Just look at how the left uses gun related tragedies to try to push gun control, or how they used news about celebrities to sort of hide the passage of Obamacare. We all know what happened in Benghazi, well all of us except Chris Matthew’s. We know about the lies and deceit, we now know about the possibility that the white house denied support to the Marines in Benghazi, sentencing them to a death penalty for serving this great country. Now according to recent developments, the white house, including the president, may have been watching the attack as it happened.

Then, I heard something that just made my stomach churn. During a press conference, Obama said, “we leave nobody behind,” I found it a little unnerving. I mean why would he say something like that when we did leave Marines behind, and ultimately paid the price with their lives. Then I just about came unglued when I found out he was actually talking about those affected by the hurricane.

Again, I mourn with those on the east coast who are mourning, I am not knocking the seriousness of the situation, and I’m not saying we should leave anyone behind. What I am saying that in light of the happenings in Benghazi, this was a very poor choice of words. Very poor Mr. President. Then again, he seems to always choose the poorest choice of words.

On a side note, I find it despicable to hear people talk badly about the Romney/Ryan campaign using their bus to help ship needed supplies to areas impacted by the hurricane. If you feel compelled and want to help those affected by hurricane Sandy, here are a couple of links that you can use to donate monetarily if you’d like:

Red Dawn Reboot Coming This November

It’s finally coming, the Red Dawn reboot will be in theaters this Thanksgiving.  After watching the trailer there are many differences between the original and the reboot.  For instance, the invaders appear to be Chinese or North Korean, Jed Eckert is no longer in high school but is a marine veteran, and there are many more differences I can see from the trailer..  The movie stars Chris Hemsworth, Josh Peck, Josh Hutcherson, Adrianne Palicki, Isabel Lucas, Connor Cruise, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and is rated PG-13.

The plot of the movie is described below from ComingSoon.net:

In “Red Dawn,” an American city awakens to the surreal sight of foreign paratroopers dropping from the sky – shockingly, the U.S. has been invaded and their hometown is the initial target. Quickly and without warning, the citizens find themselves prisoners and their town under enemy occupation. Determined to fight back, a group of young patriots seek refuge in the surrounding woods, training and reorganizing themselves into a guerilla group of fighters. Taking inspiration from their high school mascot, they call themselves the Wolverines, banding together to protect one another, liberate their town from its captors, and take back their freedom.

Don’t miss the trailer below.
