Creepy Voting Ad Finally Gets Parody

I am still at a loss for words on the ‘My First Time’ video.  You know, the video that the Obama campaign created that creepily compares voting to losing your virginity.  Seriously, give it a look if you don’t believe me.

Okay, see creepy as all get out.  Also I feel kind of dirty after watching this.  It’s almost an NSFW type of video, where you don’t want someone to know your watching it.  The only entertainment I got out of this was reading the twitter feeds that were responding to this outlandish display of tomfoolery.

Then yesterday Steven Crowder, a conservative comedian, came out with this parody of the Obama Ad.

I don’t feel so bad anymore.  Thanks Steven.

Political Fails #8

Sorry about getting this post out late, been a hectic weekend.  Here it is though in all its  glory.

Monday 10/22:
Billboards that explain voter fraud is a felony and list the punishment for such actions are being taken down in Wisconsin and Ohio. According to Reuters, the group behind the billboards violated its policy on political-themed ads by remaining anonymous.  The decision to take down the billboards was agreed to by the unknown foundation.

It is strange though that there are groups, such as the NAACP, claiming that the billboards are racist.  This goes right along with the whole, voter ID laws are racist.  I saw the funniest thing earlier today though.  While president Obama was voting this week, his photo ID was requested.

Tuesday 10/23:

MSNBC may not be the best place to get the news of the day, however you can usually get  a good laugh as the hosts make complete fools of themselves.  You can also get a really good idea on how out of touch the news organization is with the general population.  On Tuesday I saw a display that made the left look so pitiful, it just showed the barbaric nature of the left.  During the ‘Morning Joe’ Mika Brzezinski asked a 9-year old girl who she thinks should win the election.  She replied Mitt Romney and received a plethora of boos from the surrounding crowd.  Pathetic.

Wednesday 10/24:

Wednesday was full of good news.  First of, we have all heard the left say that voter fraud is a rare or non-existent.  I just wish that was true.  In Colorado’s Secretary of State has found that some 300 non-citizens are on the voter rolls there.  Hmmm.  I’ll just let that one sink in.  If that wasn’t bad enough, voting machines in Guilford County, in North Carolina, were found to be calibrated to register a vote for Mitt Romney as Barack Obama.  According to poll officials, they just need to be re-calibrated.  Conspiracy?  Most likely not, but who knows.

The person our country knows as the vice president of the United States, Joe Biden, has a tendency to open his mouth and his foot goes flying in.  I don’t know how he has any teeth with all the gaffes he’s had the last couple months.  Well, it seems he forgot where he was.  Again.  This time he was in Ohio and referred to the state as Iowa.

Thursday 10/25:

Obama had a couple of things come to life of Thursday.  The first was during an interview with ‘Rolling Stone’ magazine.  During this interview he called Romney a bullsh*tter.  Really?  This is not how the president of the United States should act, or speak, on record or in public.  I could care less if you talk like this behind the scenes, but leave it there.

Secondly, we learned that Obama must hang around Biden too much.  It seems that he is forgetting where he is as well.  The only difference is that Biden seems to mistake states that are at least near each other.  Obama, during a speech at a campaign stop, said he wanted wind turbines manufactured, “…here in China.”  How do you mix up the U.S. and China?

Friday 10/26:

Two stories that I thought needed some more attention were yet another about Biden and another about a Romney supporter.  Eric Hartsburg, a professional wrestler, auctioned off an area of he head to get tattooed.  He received $15,000 and tattooed the Romney symbol on the side of his head.

Now on to Biden.  To put it simply, he had two gaffes in a speech Thursday or Friday.  I’ll let Biden speak for himself.

Saturday 10/27:

Although there were a few good fails on Saturday, I had to choose one this time.  I chose the abomination that is children singing songs about Obama.  This time the song is about blaming the state of our nation solely on their parents.  No kidding.

Biden also had another gaffe which you can view here, and Madonna was booed when she tried telling concertgoers to vote for Obama, you can view that here.

Sorry again about the lateness of this post.  Have a great week and don’t forget to check out RedPillReport for posts from some great writers, and I contribute there as well to.

Political Fails #7

This week was a little slower, I think, due to the debate and everyone covering that more than normal news.  I did manage to find a few stories that were definitely down the fail line, though.

Monday 10/15:

I didn’t see this on Monday, but according to  Mark Halperin, a veteran politics reporter, both Obama and Romney campaign’s had complaints about having Candy Crowely as the moderator for the debate.  They apparently weren’t happy with the way she might inject herself into the debate.  Being as it was a townhall format the audience is the one’s who should steer where the debate would go.

From Halperin’s TIME report:

While an early October memorandum of understanding between the Obama and Romney campaigns and the bipartisan commission sponsoring the debates suggests CNN’s Candy Crowley would play a limited role in the Tuesday-night session, Crowley, who is not a party to that agreement, has done a series of interviews on her network in which she has suggested she will assume a broader set of responsibilities. As Crowley put it last week, “Once the table is kind of set by the town-hall questioner, there is then time for me to say, ‘Hey, wait a second, what about X, Y, Z?’”

So it’s not all that surprising she was jumping into the conversation like she did.

Tuesday 10/16:

I always told my friends and family that when smoking was banned in restaurants in California, it would spread to other states and then turn on citizens.  Sure enough, not long after the bans in California, my home state of Washington banned it in businesses as well.  Then there was talk, I don’t know if anything was passed, about banning smoking in you cars.  I know that some people are idiots and smoke with infants and children in their cars.  Those people are just that idiots, but I’m at the point where if the government tries telling me to do something I say screw it.  I want the government out of everything.

Recently, however, San Rafael, a suburb of San Francisco, decided to implement a ban on smoking in peoples homes.  Alright at least in multi-family homes and apartments, but still.  I’m sure these city officials and politicians mean well, but when you take our choice away, you become, in effect, tyrants.  Mark my words, in the near future there will be bans on smoking in all homes, then you’ll have to be 25 feet from doorways and windows, then no smoking at all.  Just for your information, I am not a smoker, but people have the right to put whatever they want in their bodies, no one has the right to tell me or you what to do with my body.  Or does that only work when it comes to abortion?

Wednesday 10/17:

This is just terrifying.  What happens when you go out into Hollywood, four hours before the presidential debate and interview people on how the debate went, before it even started?  That makes sense, right?  Anyway, Jimmey Kimmel found that out.  I don’t watch any of the late night shows, but this clip that I found on TheBlaze was just too good to pass up.  So here it is, you make your own opinion about it.

Thursday 10/18:

So there were actually a lot of stories to choose from on Thursday to add to the ‘Political Fails’ post.  So I have to go with the classic, a Biden gaffe.  While in Las Vegas Thursday, Biden actually asked the crowd of supporters if they knew anyone serving or who had been injured in Iraq or Iran.  Now Biden being confused is nothing new, but the worst part is that no one corrected him, even after repeating the gaffe a couple of times.  They just went along with it.  Either they forgot we weren’t in Iran, or they just go with it, because let’s face it, it’s Joe Biden.

Friday 10/19:

Friday was yet another hard day to choose a story from so I decided to do two.  The first is a video of a “Obama Super Fan” during a man on the street interview.  I don’t know what to say, it is just so mind blowing how, for lack of a nicer term, stupid this person is.  It seems to me that there might be a lot of people, even amongst the least intelligent, that realize communism and socialism are bad, but they are so blinded by Obama and the democrats that they think Romney is the communist.  I never thought this possible, but as you will soon see for yourself it is.

The second is again of our “great” VP Joe Biden, being well, Joe Biden on the stage.  While a lady, who is a cancer survivor was speaking,  Biden was being a little interruptive.  He was just trying to get everyone to sit down, but it was hilarious. You just have to watch and see.

I will leave you with this today, Governor Romney roasting President Obama and the MSM. Have a great week.

Political Fails of the Week: 9/24 – 9/28

Good Saturday morning y’all.  I just realized that my political fails are now over a month old. Yeah me.  Anyway, it’s time again for the political fails of the week.  There were many to choose from that I had a hard time picking just one per day.  Let’s get this started.

Monday 9/24:

Howard Stern is at it again.  He had man on the street interview with black voters and found out who their voting for.  The reasons they give are hilarious.  Whether than explain, here’s the audio.

Tuesday 9/25:

With everyone up in arms about Obama rubbing shoulders with celebrities and appearing on stupid talk shows like ‘The View’ instead of meeting with our allies, we haven’t heard a good reason as to why.  Until Now.

Joy Behar, one of the liberal scum that is sucking the intelligence from uninformed women today, tweeted this.

I believe you are right, Joy.  And that is a really sad thing.  Obama should be out there working with our allies, giving them and our countries problems his full, undivided attention.  He is the commander-in-chief, not the celebrity-in-chief.  We pay him to work for us, not to go on vacations, golf, make uninformed and ignorant speeches, and definitely not to be on TV.  Ever think of that.

Wednesday 9/26:

The U.N. is the most useless organization on the planet.  Yet, they seem to be getting the most power.  For some reason we, and other countries, view the U.N. as the great hope for our future.  Wake up people,  the U.N. is just as corrupt, or maybe more so than a Chicago politician.  During the session at the U.N. on Thursday there was a call to criminalize the blaspheming of Islam.

Excuse me.  If you’re going to call for this, where is the call to criminalize the blaspheming of Christianity, Judaism, or Buddhism.  Oh that’s right, we won’t kill people for doing that to these religions.  Islam can have peaceful followers.  However, the majority of Muslims, especially in the Middle East are terrorist supporting Jihadist’s.  Just look at the Muslim Day or Arab Day, whatever it is, parade they had in New York.  They were waving the flag that was raised after our Egyptian and Libyan embassies were attacked.  They also called for raising children to die for Allah.

To pander to this group of, to put it bluntly, dangerous religious fanatics is mind-boggling.

Read the story at TheBlaze.

Thursday 9/27:

What better way to show your love for the world than to burn down a countries embassy.

Speaking of U.S. embassies.  From day one we have heard that the attacks were due to an anti-Islamic video placed on YouTube.  Now Hillary Clinton was strongly hinting that the attacks were planned by an al-Qaeda offshoot.  This comes after the Libyan president contradicted the Obama administration as well.  Apparently the new term coined for the whole debacle is Benghazi-gate.  This just goes to show you that Obama is doing everything in his power to give Muslims a hand in destroying America.

Thursday was a day full of fails.  Here are a couple more to look into:

Friday 9/28:

This time an international fail.  Fars News Agency picked up a story about how Americans would rather hang out with Ahmadinejad instead of Obama.  Even though this sounds like it could be true, and is true in areas of New York and L.A., this is a story from the always reliable news source… The Onion.  That’s right.  Apparently the Arab news agency are as good at researching their stories as the MSM.

Now for something a little different.  Here are some stories that aren’t fails but still funny and awesome.

Paul Ryan compares Obama to NFL Replacement Refs.

Voting Democrat could send you to hell!

Political Fails of the Week: 9/17 – 9/21

Once again it’s time for the fails of the week.  I missed last week due to doing some remodeling of the house I’m moving to.  Sorry.  Nevertheless here we go.

Monday 9/17:

I remember when I was a kid.  Waking up on a Saturday morning, turning on the television, watching some cartoons, and then watching ‘Bill Nye the Science Guy.’  I was very interested in science when I was a young lad.  However, I grew up and as a Christian realized science was a work of the devil.  Just kidding.  I really lost interest in science.  Anyway, I stopped watching the TV so much, but still had respect for that great man who taught me something new every Saturday.  Recently, I have been finding different articles and video clips that seem to show that he had gone off the deep end with a lot of the other “great scientists.”  Ever since Al Gore came up with his global warming scheme, he has duped the scientific community into becoming opinion based idiots.

Anyway here is a video that has been auto-tuned for your enjoyment.

Tuesday 9/18:

A story came out that a woman tried to purchase a shotgun at Walmart.  That’s not the story.  The clerk behind the counter refused to sell the woman the shotgun, because of her size.  He then told her he was going to call the FBI because she was most likely buying the gun for someone else who couldn’t own one.  Now I have seen anything from Walmart or the employee, but if this is true, this guy was an idiot and taking away this woman’s second amendment right.  You can’t tell someone who has a legal right to purchase a firearm, or anything else, that they can’t.

View the story at TheBlaze.

Wednesday 9/19:

A restaurant owner in Texas is being threatened with fines from the city, due to washing off the bird droppings off the sidewalk in front of his restaurant.  The city said it is against the storm water drain policy they enacted, use water and wash the droppings down the drains.  However, it is okay for the rain to wash them down the storm drains.  This is another example of government thinking they’re helping a situation, and instead are hindering a business.

Thursday 9/20:

An MSNBC panel agreed that Obama’s redistribution plan was good and were boggled as to why more Americans don’t support his form of redistribution.  They also tried re-labeling it Robin Hood-ism.  Here is a couple of things for them to ponder.  First off, as I’ve said in the past, if you actually read ‘Robin Hood’ and actually pay attention to the story, Robin Hood did not simply steal from the rich and give it to the poor.  He took the people’s money, that was taken from them in the form of taxes, and gave it back to them.  This is a conservative story actually.

Also, If you look at any poll, not done by their own news organization, you will see that the majority of Americans do not want any kind of redistribution.  This actually shows how far off the MSM is from what the average American.  This is also why people are not watching these news channels anymore and are now getting their news from, frankly, conservative news sources.  Because, most of them simply tell the facts and leave opinion out of it.

View the video here.

Friday 9/21:

Obama has some strange items on it.  Items for your dog, a $95 scarf, wine glasses, etc.  One of the funniest things I found was a t-shirt.  The t-shirt itself isn’t that funny, however the picture is.

As you can see we have a white guy wearing an ‘African Americans for Obama’ shirt.  Could they not find a black man to wear it, or what?  Hilarious.  Browsing through the presidents store I saw a shirt that was a bit of a controversy a little while back.

Still a “Big F**king Deal.”  From the presidents own webstore.  What is the country coming to.  It was also kind of funny to see the difference in some of the prices of items compared side by side.  While many of them are the same, you can definitely tell who’s is who’s.

Pop quiz.  Who’s yard sign is who’s.  One is $20 and the other is $15.

That’s right Obama’s is $20 and Romney’s is $15.  You can tell Romney is a true capitalist.

Political Fails of the Week: 9/3-9/7

It’s time for another edition of political fails.  We’re just going to just right in this week.  So here we go.

Monday 9/3:

I read a story Monday about how many times a blaze reporter had to show ID in order to get into the events at the DNC.  According to the story on TheBlaze they had to show identification three times.  Which is kind of funny when you think about how showing ID is racist.  At least if you compare it to Voter ID laws (I have a post specifically on that here.) You can view the story here.

Tuesday 9/4:

I saw a video, Tuesday, from the DNC where a couple of guys were giving away t-shirts to people.  The t-shirt is hilarious, they say ‘Journalists for Obama.’  What’s so funny you might ask.  Well the fact that these shirts point out the obvious bias the media has towards Obama and the left.  And the shirts were gone in a matter of seconds.  I wonder if it’s because these people were tricked (yes, because they’re idiots), the media bias is true (undoubtedly), and/or they were free and these people want free stuff (obviously.)   Below is a video from MRC, showing how quickly the two ran out of the shirts.

Wednesday 9/5:

Democrats need to get control of their whack job loonies.  During second day of the DNC, TheBlaze interviewed a woman from Puerto Rico.  According to her Romney would “Destroy America.”  Okay, typical liberal rhetoric.  However, she turned it up a notch toward the end of the interview.  She said that if she met Romney she would  like to kill him.  Now, if this was a teaparty activist, or someone connected in, any way, to the republican party, the media would be all over this.  They would be tearing this person to shreds and then they would go after the teaparty and the GOP.  However, since this was a liberal, and not just a liberal but a hispanic liberal, they will play it off as “free speech.” According to TheBlaze, the secret service is aware of the threat and investigating.

Thursday 9/5:

Do the shuffle.

There were lots of merchants outside the DNC this week.  All of them selling some sort of Obama themed merchandise.  There was one that was, well unique.  If you were lucky enough to make it down to the DNC, and I wasn’t,  you could have purchased this product and in a matter of minutes,  you could have been the first person in the club doing ‘The Obama Shuffle.  That’s right ‘The Obama Shuffle,’ and with a name like that, and all the sweet moves this guy had going on, you would be the talk of the club.  However, maybe not in a good way.

What we need now is someone to create a Romney dubstep dance to compete with the moves this guy throws down.  It wouldn’t be too hard to beat this dance.  I think even just a backwoods square dance or even something like the river dance would be better than this.

Friday 9/6:

This story (here) really pisses me off.  The lack of respect the left has for this country and its national symbols is infuriating.  A photo posted on the University of Iowa’s facebook page shows preparations for the president’s arrival, it also shows an enormous American flag lying on the ground.  Now if you are not familiar with flag etiquette, there are some basic rule that should be followed to show respect to our great flag.  Things like: the flag should always be lit up by some sort of light (whether it’s the sun, or an artificial light), don’t set the flag on fire, simple things like that.  Oh, and don’t put the flag on the freaking ground.

This is very disrespectful.  I bet the republicans could put up a ginormous flag without it touching the ground.  Now the University did post an apology on their facebook page, and all is well.  Wait.  Except, they removed the image, and then said that nothing wrong was done.  If nothing wrong was done, then why remove the photo.

Sure looks to me like it on the ground, and I don’t see any blue or gray tarps.

Well that’s it for this week.  Don’t forget to follow the blog and I will try to answer all comments.

Political Fails of the Week: 8/27 – 8/31

It’s time again for the best political fail stories of the week.  This is kind of a fun way to kick off Saturday.  Though I may start posting on Sundays so that it kicks off the start of the week on a high note.  But I digress, let’s get on with it.

Monday 8/27

Joe Biden is planning on, get this, a 2016 presidential run.  Yes.  Oh God, please let this be true.  No one could be a better president than Joe Biden.  I mean he’s just so in touch with 99% of us Americans.  Plus, he is the only one who can stop the plans of the evil rich people.  We just have to remember, that because Joe Biden is rich himself doesn’t mean he’s actually one of the rich.  He’s just struggling to get by like everyone else.  Trying not to be put back in chains.

This has got to be the biggest joke I have ever heard.  Even the dumbest liberal has to be saying “That not good idea Biden.”  Anyone who ran against Biden would not only win, but he would lose so bad that the Democrat party just might finally drink the kool-aid.  I cannot see Biden getting the nomination, ever, but if the Democrat’s want to lose, more power to them.

Tuesday 8/28

A preschool in Nebraska wants a deaf 3-year old to officially change his name because the way he signs his name, in sign language, “resembles a gun.”  I can understand that you don’t want kids to bring weapons to school.  So the schools make a policy banning guns.  Okay.  Teachers should carry, in my opinion, but that’s a whole other topic.  Anyway, these policies are getting so ridiculous that they ban little GI Joe guns, LEGO guns, and apparently fingers.

Schools nowadays have to be cautious and worry about students bringing guns to school, but they shouldn’t be worried about kids pointing finger guns and pretending to shoot each other. To say that playing war, or any other finger gun-toting game on the schoolyard, could make kids want to shoot up their school, is so beyond stupid that it’s disturbing.  Let’s us some common sense.  Fingers don’t kill people.  Although, you could possibly poke someone in the eye, if you’re an idiot, but that’s it.

Children can’t go to a gun store and buy a gun.  So the only place they can get them is from their parents.  And the only time you have kids bringing actual guns to school, is when that child takes the gun without their parents knowledge.  And the only way that happens is when the parent is too stupid to train their children about what a gun is and how dangerous they are, and/or doesn’t lock it up.

If your going to take the time to create a policy, to ban any resemblance of guns, because they could influence a child somehow, or whatever your excuse, then you should be trying to ban video games, or rap music.  There are parents that let young children play video games like ‘Call of Duty,’ where the main point of the game is killing the bad guys… with guns… and knifes… and bombs… and so on, and so on.  So it’s okay for kids to play these and not okay for them to point their fingers at each other.

Not to mention, this kid is three years old.  Three.  Oh, and this is a preschool.  I can’t count the amount of times a three-year old brought daddies gun to preschool and shot the class up.  Use your brains people.

Wednesday 8/29

I remember just last Saturday, I said people on the left cannot answer simple questions, actually my exact quote was:

So we all know that liberals aren’t really the brightest group of people.  Give them a simple question or word to spell and the blow it every time.

And it seems this week they haven’t let me down.  TheBlaze had pictures of a plane flying a banner that said “Romney-Ryan-Akin Too Extreme for Woman.”

Now, obviously they meant “women,” at least I hope, But you know one mistake  that’s just an error.  That can happen to anyone.  Right?  Well it would be except for the plane banner from last week.

So… that’s a twofer, that means you’re an idiot.  Better sign up for elementary school again, maybe you learn more than at one of those $20,000 a year universities.

Thursday 8/30

Did you know that if you bring up Barack Obama playing golf, you are now a racist.  It’s true, according to Lawrence O’Donnell.  At the RNC Senator Mitch McConnell said.

“For four years, Barack Obama has been running from the nation’s problems, he hasn’t been working to earn re-election. He has been working to earn a spot on the PGA Tour,” Sen. McConnell said.

Of course, we all know that he was referring to Obama being a womanizer like Tiger Woods, O’Donnell implied.  Which since Tiger wood is black and Obama’s black, It’s obviously racist.  Really.

FACT: As of Aug. 4th, the president has played 104 rounds of golf.  probably more by now.

FACT: Bush only played 24 rounds of golf as president. (This is an old article, but 32 [Obama] – 8 = 24 [Bush])

So there is absolutely nothing racist about it.  Obama would rather be a coward, and  run away from the nations problems and play golf, than do something to fix them.  Although, he may just want to destroy America, and I’m sure it’s a little boring sitting behind his desk and not doing anything.

Friday 8/31

Joe Biden was on a campaign stop in Ohio.  After eating lunch and pandering to the local crazies, I mean supporters.  Something happened at this stop that is unbelievable, maybe even impossible, in my mind.  Joe had an intimate moment with one of the supporters.  Literally.

According to TheBlaze:

Then a woman, later identified as Bev Kalmer of Poland, Ohio by the pool, told the vice president: “Welcome to Ohio.”

“I‘ve been waitin’ all day to be here,” Biden responded.

Then the Kalmer shot back, “You gotta keep the chair,” referencing Clint Eastwood’s speech at the Republican National Convention Thursday night where he spoke to an invisible President Obama in an empty chair on stage.

So Joe Biden puckered up and gave the women a “kiss right on the lips, and “she swooned.”

Really.  She swooned?  Come on it’s Joe Biden, not Barack Obama, Biden.  This sounds like a set up to me.  Just like the Anti Chik-fil-a gay kiss in thing.  It’s true, staged.  Watch HERE.  I can’t believe Obama didn’t drop this guy when he had the chance.  I can’t wait for the Vice-Presidential debates, Paul Ryan will make this guy look like a child.

Second week down.  Have a great weekend everybody.

Political Fails of the Week: 8/20 – 8/24

This is what I thought were the best political stories, or just plain fails, that made me chuckle this week.

Monday 8/20:

I laughed at first, then I’ll admit I cried a little after reading the story about what happened to our tax payer dollars that went into ‘Solyndra’.  Turns out some of it is now “modern art.” I cringe when I hear those words.  It usually means a bunch of garbage stacked into a pile, and is called a “sculpture.”  Most of it is hideous, but you gotta admit it is kind of amazing, or sickening if you prefer, how millions of dollars turns into some okay looking art.

Tubes manufactured by Solyndra now “modern art.”

Tuesday 8/21:

During the First Friday Festival in downtown Phoenix, AZ, a woman was confronted by a city official and told to stop giving out free water bottles. Why? Because she didn’t have a permit. That’s right, she wasn’t selling them, she was giving them away. Free.  I’m sure that along with the permit she probably also needed a food handlers card.  This just shows how brainless our government is.

This just goes back to all the ridiculous stories in the news in the past few years about the government shutting down the only income families have because they missed a step in maze of paperwork or permits.  Let’s not forget the pathetic attempts at shutting down kids lemonade stands.  Here in Olympia, WA you can’t sell pre-cooked food, that’s pre cooked food, you know that can’t hurt anyone even if you ate it cold, without a permit, business license, and food handler cards.  Even for a one or two day fundraiser.

Common sense is obviously gone in this country.  Which is bad because I believe all you need to survive in life is common sense.  Well that and a work ethic.  But let’s not get carried away.  If everyone had those we wouldn’t need the government.

Wednesday 8/22:

So we all know that liberals aren’t really the brightest group of people.  Give them a simple question or word to spell and the blow it every time.  On Wednesday, Obama made a stop at OSU in Ohio and the president and three others made a nice attempt at spelling a brain-twisting word. Ready?  OHIO.  That’s right Ohio, I mean I had to look up the word just to spell it in this post.

Below was their first attempt, which ended fantastically.

First attempt at spelling Ohio

But let’s be fair they did try again and this time succeeded.

Finally, they got it.

Thursday 8/24:

Atheists targeted a high school football coach in Madison, Wisconsin because he dared to allow churches to feed the players, because it is “unconstitutional.”  Oh, come on!  What is wrong with these Freedom From Religion morons. According to the FFRF:

“Taking public school football teams to church, even for a meal, is unconstitutional,” FFRF attorney Andrew Seidel wrote in a letter to the district. “This program is an egregious violation of the Establishment Clause and must cease immediately.”

Let’s go back to the Constitution and see what it says about feeding kids.

Amendment 1:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…

Nothing about feeding kids.  However it does basically say, congress shall not create a national religion or interfere with religion and religious expression.  There is actually no phrase stating seperation of church and state in the constitution.  That term was taken out of a letter from Thomas Jefferson to the Dansbury Baptist’s who had concerns that the constitution would constrict Christianity.  Jefferson told the Dansbury baptist’s:

…that the legitimate powers of government reach actions only, & not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should “make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,” thus building a wall of separation between Church & State…

Speaks for itself. State has to stay out of the church.

For the whole letter click here.

Friday 8/25:

Is the Obama campaign getting a little desperate?  It seems they sent out the same email to supporters six times.  My theory is that they could just be  running their campaign like the government and have six people doing the same job, and none of them know what the other five are doing.  Not very news worthy but still pretty funny.

Full story at TheBlaze

By the way. Doesn’t Obama kinda look like Tony Montana?

You know maybe I’ll do this every week.
